Lucozade Spors Munster Youths Cup Final
Killarney Celtic  5     Waterford Bohs. 1

(By Christy leahy)
This was a great day for Kerry soccer. On the field of play Killarney Celtic delivered the goods with a fantastic team performance whilst off the field the  organisational skills of the Kerry District League, helped in no small way by the assistance of the members of the Kerry Branch of the ISRS, were impressively displayed.
The day belonged to Killarney Celtic who, from number one to number eleven, gave their best team performance of the season, brought the first Munster Youths trophy to Kerry soccer. They raced in to a three goal lead with the first two coming from headers by Robert Watson and Chris Davies which was then followed by the goal of the game from the boot of Davies. There was a short period of uncertainty  for Celtic when Waterford Bohs scored from the penalty spot just before half time and hit the cross bar with a brilliant free kick two  minutes into the second half.. Normal service was soon resumed when Chris Davies, who had not scored all season,  scored twice more for Celtic. This win will be a great morale booster for Celtic as they prepare for the National cup Semi Final  against St. Michael’s of Tipperary on Easter Monday.
